I first applied to Lancaster for Physics, however I got into Ethics, Philosophy and Religion.
I was initially unaware of the Part I system, so I scrambled around trying to find a minor to
do. I eventually ended up with film, which, after just 5 weeks, I changed my major to, and I
haven’t looked back. I have made the most of my time at Lancaster, from Study Abroad in North
Carolina, becoming the President of the Student TV Station, acting as the voice for students as
an Academic Representative, to representing the Department on Applicant Visit Days and at
Higher Education Fairs, I really have made my experience my own. After I graduate, I intend to
Study an MA in Philosophy here at Lancaster, and then after that a PhD, or a job in Television.
